Mark Smith has a diverse work experience in finance and business development. Mark began their career as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008, then moved on to roles at Grant Thornton UK LLP, including Assistant Manager and Manager in Transaction Advisory Services. More recently, Mark served in various roles at Ramsdens Financial Limited, culminating in their current position as Finance Director. Their roles have encompassed financial planning, analysis, business development, and strategic management.

Mark Smith attended Yarm College from 2004 to 2006. Mark then went on to Newcastle University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a 1st degree in Business, Accounting, and Finance.
