Hiram Valdez currently serves as the Head of Finance for Payments and Financial Products at Amazon since July 2024. Simultaneously, Hiram is a Limited Partner at Rally Cap Ventures and 99 Startups. Previously, Hiram held the position of Chief Financial Officer at RappiCard México from July 2021 to November 2023, overseeing Finance, Operations, and People functions. Hiram also contributed to Uber as the Head of Strategy and Finance and Finance Manager for Uber Money from September 2018 to July 2021, focusing on fintech launches in Latin America and budget management across business units. Earlier experience includes roles as General Manager at Azúcar Dulcerías and various positions at IFC - International Finance Corporation, emphasizing investment analysis and project finance. Hiram Valdez holds an MBA from Boston University's Questrom School of Business and a degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
