Maki Jannetta has extensive experience in the e-commerce and global business sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive of the Innovation Office, while also overseeing the Cross Border Trading Department, New Business Development, and International E-commerce at Rakuten since March 2015. Prior to this, Maki led the Global Business Promotion Division at transcosmos inc. from October 2012 to February 2015. Maki's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree from Sophia University (2006-2010) and a brief program at the University of Cambridge in 2020.
