Hiroshi Ito is an experienced Senior QA Manager at Rakuten Americas since July 2014, where responsibilities include leading comprehensive testing efforts across various domains, managing the QA team, and collaborating with project managers and development managers to optimize project roadmaps and resource allocation. Prior to this role, Hiroshi served as Lead QA Engineer at Rakuten Advertising from March 2008 to July 2014, focusing on establishing QA processes and project management for BI and UI projects. Earlier experience includes a consulting position at IBM from September 1999 to December 2007, overseeing testing for ShopIBM Web applications and leading the implementation of automated testing tools. Hiroshi holds a B.A. in Political Science from Keio University and an M.A. in Media Studies from the New School for Social Research.
