Matthew Hartz has a strong background in software engineering. From 2016 onwards, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Raiven. In this role, they designed and built Microservices using various Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management. Matthew also leveraged serverless technologies like Azure Functions and Logic Apps for application monitoring. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Software Engineer at The Retail Equation from 2013 to 2016. Here, they redesigned and enhanced a Webforms application into a web application using .NET MVC and Angularjs. Matthew also contributed to an OSS F# implementation of a Jenkins API.

Matthew Hartz earned their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Fullerton College from 2010 to 2012, focusing on Computer Science.
