Michael Cox is a highly experienced commercial pilot and flight instructor with a robust background in aviation. Currently serving as a Captain for SkyWest Airlines since December 2014, Michael operates the ERJ-175. In addition to this role, Michael has been a Flight Instructor at Rainier Flight Service since October 2010, focusing on helping individuals learn to fly in a relaxed environment. Previously, flight instructor roles were held at Wings Aloft and San Diego Flight Training International, further enhancing expertise in aviation training. Michael has also served as a Plane Captain in the United States Marine Corps from January 2001 to January 2006. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed specialized training at San Diego Flight Training International.
