Melissa Meboe

Home Care Social Worker at Rainbow Hospice Care

Melissa Meboe has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Melissa began their career in 2002 as a Lab Assistant and Data Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting research on psychopathy. Melissa then worked as a Social Worker and Facilitator at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center, providing case management and facilitating sex offender treatment groups.

Later, Melissa joined the Mental Health Center of Dane County in 2006 as a Community Support Program Case Manager. In this role, they provided assertive case management for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, addressing their various needs and promoting independence.

Melissa then served as the Jail Mental Health Team Supervisor at the Mental Health Center of Dane County, supervising a team of mental health clinicians and psychiatrists providing care to inmates in the jail setting.

In 2009, Melissa became a Crisis Intervention Supervisor at Journey Mental Health Center, where they co-supervised a crisis intervention team responsible for handling mental health emergencies in Dane County. Melissa also played a significant role in developing a Crisis Stabilization facility called Bayside Care Center.

From 2011 to 2018, Melissa worked as a Crisis Intervention Supervisor at Rock County Human Services, overseeing a team of staff responsible for mental health and substance abuse emergencies in the county. Melissa'srole included providing interventions in correctional facilities and youth services centers.

In 2018, Melissa transitioned to Home Again Assisted Living Inc. as a Community Director, managing various aspects of the community's operations for three years until 2021.

Currently, Melissa holds the position of Home Care Social Worker at Rainbow Hospice Care, Inc., where they provide support and assistance to individuals receiving home care services.

Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to serving individuals with mental health needs in various settings.

Melissa Meboe's education history is as follows:

Melissa obtained an Associates degree in General studies from the University of Wisconsin - Rock County from 1999 to 2001. Melissa then completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2001 to 2003. Finally, Melissa earned a Master's of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2003 to 2005.
