Richard Wolfe has a solid background in hospice and palliative medicine, as well as geriatrics. Richard began their career in 2003 with a private practice in Geriatric Healthcare, where they worked until 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2008, they served as the Associate Director and Director of Geriatrics for the Family Medicine Residency at Resurrection Medical Center. In 2008, they joined Rainbow Hospice as the Medical Director. Most recently, they have been working as Teaching Faculty for the Ascension Resurrection Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program since 2014.
Richard Wolfe completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Family Medicine/Geriatric/Palliative Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Richard then pursued further medical training, including a Family Medicine Residency Program at Resurrection Medical Center from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they completed a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital from 2002 to 2003.
