Kyle Beers is an experienced educator and basketball coach with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Northern Lights Basketball Academy since January 2018, Kyle is dedicated to promoting basketball in Northern Ontario through a variety of programs for players, parents, and coaches. Since September 2008, Kyle has also been a Teacher and Senior Boys’ Basketball Coach at Rainbow District School Board, contributing to both junior/intermediate science and senior biology education. Previous experience includes serving as the Associate Head Coach of The Sudbury Five Basketball Organization and the Varsity Men’s Basketball Head Coach at Lasalle Secondary School. Kyle's educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Science from Lakehead University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Algoma University, and a diploma in Police Foundations from Sault College. Additionally, Kyle worked as a server at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar prior to focusing full-time on education and basketball.
