Milo Knight has a diverse and extensive work experience history. They most recently served as the Director of Operations, Wellness and Culture at the Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County since May 2022. Previously, they held various roles at the University of California, Davis, including Interim Director of the UC Davis LGBTQIA Resource Center and Assistant Director of the LGBTQIA Resource Center. Prior to that, Milo worked at the University of California, Santa Cruz as the Social Justice & Community CoCurricular Programs Coordinator and as an Event Coordinator for the Food Justice Conference. They also gained experience at the University of San Diego as a United Front Multicultural Center Graduate Assistant, Rainbow Educator, and Emerging Leaders Co-Facilitator. They served a Pride Center Graduate Intern at San Diego State University and as a CalSERVES School Climate Mentor at AmeriCorps. Milo also gained experience as an LGBTQ Youth Development Intern at the Santa Cruz County Diversity Center and as a Youth Advocate / Educational Workshops Lead at the Walnut Avenue Women's Center. Lastly, they served as a Community Programs Assistant and Social Justice Issues Peer Facilitator at the UCSC College Nine and College Ten Activities Office.
Milo Knight obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between the years 2009 and 2013. Later on, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Higher Education Leadership from the University of San Diego.
