Leah Renee Lumeya, LMSW, serves as the Resident Care Coordinator at Rainbow Acres since July 2023 and has been the Co-Country Director for the non-profit organization TUBA, focused on trauma education and peace promotion in the Democratic Republic of Congo, since September 2019. Since July 2014, Leah has also worked as a Support Worker for Lumeya International Ministries Inc. Past roles include a CAMA Representative in the DRC, Therapist at Red Mountain Sedona, and Clinical Specialist at Skills of Central Pennsylvania, focusing on mental health and behavioral well-being. Additionally, Leah lectured in the Masters Nonprofit Leadership Program at Juniata College, covering a wide range of topics related to nonprofit management. Leah has extensive experience in community planning, case management, and behavior support, with a strong educational background, including multiple degrees and certifications in social work and trauma studies.
