Lakshmeesh Rao has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Lakshmeesh is currently the Chief Investment Officer at RAIN Technologies since February 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at ALPHAMATTERS ADVISORS, where they held the position of Director since June 2018. Lakshmeesh also served as an Algorithmic Trading Strategist from September 2014 to June 2018 at the same company.

Earlier in their career, Lakshmeesh worked at TuDelft iGEM 2012 as the Mathematical Modelling, where they were responsible for coordinating the mathematical modeling activities of the team and developing models for the pheromone pathway.

Lakshmeesh began their career at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Systems Engineer, working on projects developing desktop applications from November 2009 to June 2011.

Lakshmeesh Rao completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2005 and 2009. Subsequently, between 2011 and 2013, Lakshmeesh earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Systems and Control from Delft University of Technology.
