Cord Oehlers holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Max-Planck Institute in Göttingen, Germany. Oehlers has held prominent roles in procurement, currently serving as the Head of Technical Procurement at Rain Carbon Inc. Previous positions include Interim Procurement Manager at coprocurement, Director of Global Procurement at Tokai COBEX, and Interim Procurement Manager in a self-employed capacity. Oehlers also took a career break for a transition period.
