Marius Kaucikas is a Capital Market Risk Manager at Railpen, starting in September 2023, after serving as a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Construction and Risk Analyst at Fidelity International from September 2017 to September 2023. Prior roles at Fidelity International included Fixed Income Portfolio Construction and Risk Analyst, and Quant Associate, where Marius developed quantitative models to support investment decisions and portfolio construction. Marius has a strong research background, having worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London from June 2010 to September 2017, focusing on statistical models for spectroscopic data analysis, noise characterization, and data fitting using Matlab and Python. Earlier experience includes roles as Laser Engineer and Project Manager at UAB EKSPLA and Visiting Researcher at ETH Zurich. Marius holds a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Physics from Vilnius University and completed additional studies through Stanford Online MOOC.
