Justin Poucher has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Justin began their career as a Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) Technician in the United States Air Force from November 2003 to November 2007. Following this, they served as a Military Officer in the US Army from April 2011 to October 2014, where they managed programs related to security and coordinated training.

In 2017, Justin joined MetroVein Centers as a Vascular Technologist, where they performed venous insufficiency exams and assisted during endovascular laser ablations and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy procedures.

Justin's career then shifted to software engineering, as they joined the Project Shift Software Engineering Fellowship in November 2018. As a Fellow, they received immersive training in full-stack development, focusing on JavaScript and working with frameworks like React and Backbone.js. Justin also gained experience in HTML, CSS, SASS, and back-end technologies like NodeJS and MongoDB.

In 2019, Justin moved to Railinc Corp. where they held multiple roles. These included a QA Engineer Internship, followed by an Associate QA Engineer position, and finally a role as a Quality Assurance Engineer. At Railinc, they tested flagship external-facing web applications and webservices, performing both manual and automated testing using various tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, Maven, Jenkins, Rally, GIT, and SQL.

Justin Poucher completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Mercer University from 1999 to 2003. Justin then pursued an Associate's Degree in Biology at Folsom Lake College from 2008 to 2010. In 2015 to 2016, Justin attended Georgia Northwestern Technical College where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Vascular Technology.
