Eric Casper has a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. Eric started their career as a Temporary Emergency Medical Technician for Orange County (N.C.) Government in 2021. Eric then worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for FirstHealth of the Carolinas from January 2022 to July 2023, where they provided emergency medical care and performed various medical procedures. In 2022, Eric also worked as an Independent Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, conducting research on the lipid droplet Kennedy Pathway gene in relation to human embryonic cells. From 2020 to 2023, they had multiple roles at FastMed Urgent Care, including Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Trainer. Eric performed a wide range of tasks, from patient triaging to training new staff. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, Eric worked at Railcare Health as the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Training/Instructor, and Human Resources Director. Eric oversaw the company's operations, improved clinical excellence, and managed recruitment and retention. Lastly, Eric recently joined Parexel as a Clinical Research Associate I in 2023, where they oversee the conduct of clinical trials and ensures patient safety and data quality.
Eric Casper has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Medical Anthropology, both obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
