Liad Magen is a Machine Learning Researcher at Research Industrial Systems Engineering (RISE) since July 2021, focusing on information extraction, document and image classification, and anomaly detection. Additionally, Liad serves as a Lecturer in the Multilingual Technologies Master's program at FH Campus Wien and as an Instructor in Medical Image Processing at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. Experience includes conducting workshops at Keep-Current, instructing courses at the Learning Planet Institute, and previously training data scientists at Asigmo Data Science. As a Technical Co-Founder of MeetPlans, Liad contributed to developing online consultation solutions. Previous roles encompass senior research at Abacus Accounting Technologies GmbH, AI research at EnliteAI GmbH, and leadership in tech at WeAreDevelopers. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Université Paris Cité and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. Proficient in a diverse tech stack including Python, Go-Lang, and cloud platforms.
