Ziv Gefen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and research, currently serving as a PPKTP System Engineer at Raicol Crystals since July 2015, specializing in periodic poling processes for potassium titanyl phosphate and Mg-doped lithium niobate, aimed at advancements in quantum communications and computing. Prior to this role, Ziv worked as a Process R&D Engineer at Suron A.C.A Ltd from July 2011 to June 2015, leading photo etching processes and enhancing lamination and UV exposure methods. Ziv began a career as a project manager at JUT Engineering from December 2006 to January 2011, focusing on the development of infrared medical equipment. Ziv holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biochemistry from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
