Farzad Niroui is an Applied Scientist at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute since August 2023, with prior experience as a Robotics Engineer at Intrinsic and a Research Engineer at Vicarious. Previously, Farzad held the position of Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief Design Officer at eleven:eleven Labs and working as a Biomedical R&D Sensor Development Specialist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Additional roles include Mechanical Engineer at Christie Digital Systems, Engineering Assistant at Magna Powertrain, Metrology for Nanotechnology Research Assistant at the National Research Council Canada, and Mobile Developer at Jingu Apps Inc. Farzad earned a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
