Marcos Lemus has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Marcos has held various roles in different companies.

From 2022 to the present, Marcos has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Raft. Marcos is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining microservice applications using frameworks such as Java, Spring, Jersey, Golang, React, and PostgreSQL.

Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ManTech, where they specialized in microservices programming and had in-depth knowledge of frameworks such as Java, Spring, Jersey, Golang, React, and PostgreSQL.

In 2020, Marcos worked at Applied Research Solutions as a Software Engineer and played the role of a technical lead in a small lab. Marcos worked closely with cyber analysts to develop software solutions, including docker-based microservice applications in Go and performing analyses of free and open-source software.

From 2018 to 2020, Marcos was a Software Engineer at SRC Inc. Marcos specialized in full-stack development and took on a tech lead position on multiple software projects, including the migration of a monolith application to a microservices architecture.

In 2016 and 2018, Marcos worked as a Computer Scientist at the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center. Marcos led a development team responsible for creating a .NET web application.

Marcos also has experience in the academic field. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at the University of New Mexico as a Tutor and later as a Teaching Assistant. Marcos formulated and instructed the methodology for teaching programming fundamentals and addressed student inquiries regarding software development and debugging.

In addition, Marcos worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico in 2015 and had a software developer internship at Deep Storage LLC during the same year.

In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at the University of New Mexico, where they developed software for EEG research, collaborating with a head psychologist to meet system requirements for researching neural events.

Marcos Lemus earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering. Marcos attended the university from 2011 to 2016.
