Idan Shamay is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience at Radware since 2010, currently serving as Software Team Leader for the Application Delivery Controller (ADC) division, where leadership includes the development of patented SSL inspection technology within Alteon NG. Prior to the current role, Idan contributed as Principal RT Software Engineer, focusing on performance acceleration for web and SSL applications, and led the Automation team at Radware from 2009 to 2010. Idan's earlier career includes serving as Senior Academic Officer for the Government of Israel from 2004 to 2008, where responsibilities encompassed designing enterprise architecture for securing IDF networks and developing secure inter-network solutions. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics, both from Bar-Ilan University, alongside foundational education in Computer Science, Physics, and Electronics Engineering.
