Tanya Ghai is an engaged and multifaceted research professional, currently serving as a Research Assistant at Mckinnon Lab since January 2022, contributing to the fields of Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Psychology under Dr. Margaret. As a Co-Founder and Co-President of Fearless Minds, an advocacy group at McMaster University established in May 2020, Tanya focuses on addressing mental health challenges intensified by the pandemic. Additional roles include serving as a Marketing Executive at HOPE McMaster, a STEM Fellowship Researcher at McMaster University, a Research Assistant at RadScholars, and a Research Fellow at Nexus Laboratories Inc., where the research centers on mental health disparities among college students. Tanya has achieved recognition as a Silver Medalist in the Canadian Undergraduate Research Competition and is actively involved in tutoring English through BEEP tutoring, all while pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences with a minor in Psychology at McMaster University.
