Natalie Klym

Vice President Market Development at Radium

Natalie Klym has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 1996, they worked as a Senior Research Analyst at Digital 4Sight, where they investigated networking technology trends and provided research and analysis on industry transformations. From 2003 to 2004, they were a Research Associate at Prof. Charles Fine, focusing on the regulation of networked industries, specifically the telecom industry.

Starting from 2004, Natalie worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), first as a Research Associate in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, and later as the Executive Director and Research Associate in the Communications Futures Program. During their time at MIT, they developed program strategies, coordinated research groups, managed partner relationships, and conducted research on the future of digital media.

In 2017, Natalie joined BCMA Canada as the Director of Research, where they oversaw research initiatives. Natalie then moved on to the Vector Institute in 2018, where they served as the Director of Professional Development, overseeing the design and implementation of AI professional development programs.

Natalie joined the University of Toronto in 2020 as the Program Curator for the BMO Lab in Creative Research in the Arts, Performance, Emerging Technologies, and AI. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Market Development at Radium, starting in 2021.

Natalie also worked as an Executive Advisor at the Institute for Experiential AI at Northeastern University from December 2021 to June 2022. Throughout their career, Natalie has demonstrated leadership, research, and program development skills in the fields of AI, technology, and communications.

Natalie Klym has pursued various educational programs throughout their academic journey. In 2021, they completed the Corporate Innovation: Strategies for Leveraging Ecosystems Management and Leadership Certificate Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prior to this, they enrolled in the Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy Management and Leadership Certificate Program at MIT, starting in 2018 and continuing until present. Natalie also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication Studies from Concordia University. Furthermore, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree in Economic Geography from Queen's University.
