Jason VanGordon has over 20 years of work experience, starting as a maintenance technician at Advanced Heat Treat Company in 1998. Jason worked as a metallurgical laboratory technician at North Star Steel Company from 2000 to 2003, where they performed failure analysis on customer claim samples. At TWB Company, they served as an engineering technician from 2003 to 2009, responsible for installing and maintaining automated quality control systems and researching new uses for machine vision sensors and lighting. Jason then joined USS Vision as a machine vision engineer in 2011, where they designed, built, wired, programmed, and installed machine vision systems around the world and collaborated with customers to determine their needs. Jason currently serves as a system engineer at Radiant Vision Systems, starting in 2023.
Jason VanGordon studied at Monroe County Community College from 1997 to 2010, where they received an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Electronics and Computer Technologies, and Industrial Electronics and Technologies. Prior to attending Monroe County Community College, they briefly attended The University of Toledo in 1996, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Electronics Technologies, but did not complete the program.
