Maureen A. Shanahan, OT RAC-CT, is an accomplished rehabilitation leader with extensive experience in diverse roles within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Radford University since September 2023, Maureen has held the position of Regional Director of Rehabilitation at Kissito Healthcare since September 2016. Previous roles include Director of Rehabilitation at Select Medical @ Trinity Mission of Rocky Mount and Medical Facilities of America, as well as National Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Specialties at Gentiva Health Services. Maureen's expertise focuses on evidence-based best practices for the older adult population, including the recruitment, development, and retention of rehabilitation leaders. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
