Francien Geertsema is an experienced educator and project coordinator with a strong background in teaching Dutch as a second language and regular Dutch language instruction. Currently serving as a docent NT2, mentor, and dyslexia coordinator at OSK de Woldborg (rsg de Borgen) since August 2022, Francien also holds positions at Koninklijke Kentalis and Drenthe College, where responsibilities include online teaching and examination. With additional roles at Noorderpoort, Montessori Vaklyceum Groningen, Alfa-college, Het Hogeland College, Kameleon Theatersport, and ROC Friese Poort, Francien has developed a diverse skill set in education. Furthermore, since January 2016, Francien has worked as a project assistant in procurement and process description at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, focusing on policy and process optimization. Francien Geertsema obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Dutch Education from Leidse Onderwijs Instellingen between 2016 and 2021, supplementing educational qualifications with various other studies.
