Chip Staats is currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at Rabren General Contractors since February 2024. Prior to this, Chip held the position of Detachment Commander with the Connecticut Army National Guard from August 2019 to July 2024. Chip's military experience includes roles as a Liaison Officer with the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command in Abu Dhabi, where responsibilities involved representing Marine Corps interests and fostering relationships with the UAE Armed Forces, and as an Operations Officer managing logistics support for Marine forces in Kuwait. Additional roles in the United States Marine Corps include Assistant Operations Officer and Maintenance Management Officer, where logistics and supply chain management were critical. Chip Staats earned a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs, along with Latin American Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
