Kelly Blakeley serves as the Global Board Director at The BCI since March 2023, contributing to a leading professional body for resilience professionals. Currently, Kelly is the Thematic Lead at Rabdan Academy, overseeing various initiatives focused on risk and resilience within the UAE Government. With a diverse portfolio in resilience leadership roles, Kelly has been an Expert Committee Member for BSI and represents the UK at ISO regarding continuity and organizational resilience. Prior experience includes serving as Resilience Capability Lead for the UK Government's Emergency Planning College and holding multiple positions related to emergency planning and business continuity within Lincolnshire County Council. Kelly's educational background includes ongoing studies at both the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and MIT Sloan School of Management, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Leeds.
