Richard K. Trout has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety. Currently serving as the Safety, Security and Training Officer at rabbittransit since September 2019, Richard K. Trout also holds the position of Chief of Police at the York State Fair, a role that has been maintained since July 2015. Prior to these roles, Richard K. Trout was associated with the West Manchester Township Police from September 1988 to September 2019, where duties included serving as Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant, and Patrol Sergeant. Additional experience includes instructing at the Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program from August 2006 to September 2016 and briefly acting as the Fire Department Administrator and Interim Emergency Management Coordinator for West Manchester Township in 2015-2016. Richard K. Trout began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer with North Codorus Township Police from May 1986 to September 1988.
