Shawn Bai is an experienced Silicon Process Technology and Modeling Technologist at R2 Semiconductor, Inc., focusing on silicon technology and new product development since July 2014. Prior to this role, Shawn served as a Principal Engineer at Dialog Semiconductor, specializing in silicon technology and PMIC development from 2012 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes a position as Tech Manager at TSMC, and Engineering Manager at Texas Instruments, where technology development for RF applications was a key focus. Shawn's career also includes significant roles at Agere Systems/Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, Motorola Semiconductor, and Zilog, emphasizing new silicon technology development, device modeling, and characterization. Academically, Shawn holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and has a foundation from the University of Science and Technology of China.
