Manuela Prieto has been working in the legal field since 2016. Manuela began their career as an intern of the Intellectual Property Team at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria in 2016. In 2018, they moved to Gamboa Abogados as a Paralegal of the Litigation and Arbitration Team. In 2019, they joined Brigard Urrutia as an Associate of the Litigation, Arbitration and Insolvency Team. In 2021, Manuela began working at RapiCredit as the Legal Lead / Data Protection and Risk Compliance Officer. Manuela also works at R2 as the Compliance & Legal Lead and Compliance & AML Lead.

Manuela Prieto's education history includes a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from Universidad de Los Andes (2014-2019), a Diploma in Commercial Law from Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá (2020-2021), a LegalTech Professional in the Digital Era from MIT Professional Education (2021-2022), a Fintech Law course from Colombia Fintech (2021), a Course on Digital Platforms Law from Universidad de Los Andes (2021), an English Law Course from University of Cambridge (2019), and French language studies from Alliance française de Bogota (2010-2013). Manuela is currently enrolled in a course with Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2017-present).
