Kathy Walton serves as the Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales at RF Lafferty & Co., Inc. since March 2024 and has been a Principal at The Basic Industries Group, LLC since 2008, which Kathy co-founded to focus on consulting within various basic industries. Walton has extensive experience in institutional sales, noted for strong relationships across the buy-side and capital raising efforts primarily for small mining companies. Previous roles include Registered Representative at Scarsdale Equities, where foundational relationships were established in investment banking, and leadership positions in sales and research at notable firms such as Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Merrill Lynch. Walton holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from The George Washington University. Additionally, Walton is a dedicated community volunteer in New York City, assisting various charitable causes for those in need.
