Genís Moreno Reñé has a wide range of work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Web Developer at Cookbooth. In 2015, they worked as a Research Student at BSC, where they developed software and performed research on noise simulation models. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Shodann LTD as a Software Engineer and CSV Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Backend Engineer at Qustodio since 2021. Additionally, from 2019 to 2021, they worked at IUL SA as a Full Stack Engineer of biomedical and clinical software products.

Genís Moreno Reñé obtained a Bachillerato in Science from Escoles Freta between 2008 and 2010. Genís then went on to pursue an Informatics engineering degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2010 and 2015. In 2017, they obtained a SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) certification from Udemy and an A3 Problem Solving certification from AbbVie.
