Heather MacKinnon has over 18 years of work experience in sales, beginning with their role as an Account Manager at Citysearch.com in 2001. Heather then worked as an Advertising Consultant and Major Accounts at Autotrader US from 2003 to 2007, where they surpassed sales goals by 200% and was selected as a member of the National Blitz Team for two consecutive years. In 2007, they became the Director of Sales at DataOne Software, where they drove a 200% sales increase and secured the first national client. From 2008 to 2015, they were the Vice President of Sales at DealerRater, where they secured over 2,000 accounts and grew the client base from under 50 to over 5,000. Heather then moved to Octane Marketing as the Vice President of Sales from 2017 to 2018, where they were focused on the automotive vertical. Most recently, they were the Vice President of Sales at Quotible from 2018 to present, where they are focused on trust in a dealership and first impressions.

Heather MacKinnon studied Communications at Iona University, obtaining a BA between 1990 and 1994.
