Akshata Naikar has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software engineering. Akshata is currently employed at Quorum as an Engineering Manager II since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Quorum from November 2020 to February 2022.
Before joining Quorum, Akshata worked at Tangoe as a Development Manager from June 2015 to October 2020. Akshata also gained valuable experience at IBM as a Staff Software Engineer from January 2011 to May 2015.
Earlier in their career, Akshata worked at Rivermine as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2009 to December 2010. Akshata also contributed to the development of an air travel reservation website at George Mason University, where they worked as a Web Developer from January 2008 to January 2009.
Akshata began their career at UTStarcom, working as a Software Engineer from June 2004 to March 2006, and later as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2006 to December 2006. During their time at UTStarcom, they were involved in developing the TC200 IWF 1.0 for Moving Media 2000, which provided asynchronous data connectivity over IP.
Akshata Naikar holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from George Mason University - College of Engineering and Computing. Akshata achieved a GPA of 3.77 during their time at the university. Prior to their master's degree, Akshata obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they attained a GPA of 3.91. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including Social and Behavioral Research from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in February 2021, Advance Your Skills in the Hadoop/NoSQL Data Science Stack from LinkedIn Learning in October 2020, Reactive Architecture - DDD, Microservices, CQRS and Event Sourcing from Lightbend, Inc. in September 2020, Certified Master in Agile Software Development from Project Management Institute in August 2020, Applying Lean, DevOps, and Agile to Your IT Organization from LinkedIn Learning in July 2020, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in May 2018, and Sun Certified Java Programmer from Oracle in February 2009.
