Wan Shara Akmal has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Wan Shara is currently employed at Quorum Software as a Senior Product Expert since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Tieto as a Software Developer from December 2007 to August 2021. Wan Shara also has experience as a Business System Analyst at Pernec Corporation Berhad from April 2007 to November 2007. Furthermore, they worked as a Research Scientist at Damai Sciences Sdn Bhd from November 2006 to March 2007 and as a Programmer at Skali from April 2004 to October 2006.

Wan Shara Akmal completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS from 1999 to 2003.
