Montse U. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and sectors. Montse began their career as an International Sales Assistant at Hyprotech Europe in 1994, and later worked as a Production Coordinator at AEA Technology from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 2005, they served as a Sales Lead & Market Research- Marketing Coordinator at Aspen Technology. In 2009, Montse U. transitioned into a role as a Freelance Translator until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Medical Translator for Editorial Médica Panamericana in 2011. Montse U. then gained experience as an Intern at the World Health Organization in 2011. Following that, they held a role as a Hospitality Hostess at Ajuntament de l'Hospitalet during the Mobile World Congress in 2016. Montse U. then became an Occupation and Local Development Agent (AODL) at Ajuntament de l'Hospitalet, where they implemented projects to revitalize and promote the city's commercial network. In 2019, they joined Aucerna as a Project and Contract Coordinator, and currently holds the same role at Quorum Software since 2021. Throughout their career, Montse U. has demonstrated strong coordination and organizational skills, as well as a passion for promoting and revitalizing various aspects of their work environments.

Montse U. completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in English and German Philology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1993. Montse also studied abroad at Karl Franzens Universität Graz in Austria as an ERASMUS student during the academic year 1992-1993, focusing on English and German Philology. Later on, in 2010-2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Medical and Health Translation at Universitat Jaume I.
