Tal Lazar has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tal began their career in 1997 as a Staff Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2001, they became a Software Developer for Ness Technologies. In 2004, they started their own business as a Director of Photography for Tal Lazar. In 2011, they were a Senior Lecturer at The American Film Institute, and in 2012, they became a Lecturer at Berklee Online. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Founder & CEO of Latent Images. In 2017, they were a Founding Partner of MiLa Media, and in 2018, they became an Assistant Professor at both The City College of New York and Columbia University in the City of New York. Since 2020, they have been the Founder & CEO of Quonder, an innovative eLearning platform.
Tal Lazar obtained a BFA in Film from Tel Aviv University between 2001 and 2003, followed by an MFA in Cinematography from The American Film Institute between 2007 and 2009. Tal also holds certifications in both Film and Cinematography from Tel Aviv University and The American Film Institute respectively.
