Jonas Reber has a wealth of work experience, starting with their role as an Electronics Technician at Indico Electronic AG in 2005. Jonas then moved on to become a Software Engineer and Tourist Guide in British Columbia for Club ESL & Discover Canada Tours in 2006, followed by a role as a Brainstormer at BrainStore in the same year. In 2009, they were a Research Engineer at Berner Fachhochschule BFH, before becoming a Scientific Collaborator / R&D Engineer at Universität Bern in 2012. In the same year, they also began a PhD in MRI Technology at ETH Zürich. In 2018, they were a Development Engineer at Skope Magnetic Resonance Technologies, and a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Universität Zürich | University of Zurich. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they held roles as a Board Member and CTO & Co-Founder at PrecisionWave AG, and as CTO at QUMEA.

Jonas Reber completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik from Berner Fachhochschule BFH from 2006 to 2009. Jonas then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern from 2009 to 2011. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Science (Dr. sc. ETH) in MRI Technology from ETH Zürich from 2012 to 2018.
