Nizar Jaffer Somji is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience across various industries. Currently serving as CEO of Consentia Inc., the largest document imaging and business process outsourcing firm in Western Canada, Nizar also holds the position of President and CEO at Jaffer Inc., which encompasses diverse sectors such as real estate and construction. Active in governance, Nizar serves on the Board of Directors for EPCOR and QuirkLogic Inc., and as Chair of the Board for Kanvi Private Equity and previously for Zafin and Redline Communications. Nizar's career spans several decades, including a tenure as President and CEO of Matrikon Inc., and involvement with CriticalControl Energy Services and the University of Alberta's Board of Governors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Chemical Process Control Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
