Brendan Chambers is an Senior Applied Research Scientist at QuillBot. Brendan was previously a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Chicago and an independent data researcher. Their research has spanned a wide range of topics, including computational biology, data journalism, machine learning, and data visualization. Brendan has also been involved in investigating racialized sentiment in Twitter statuses and character-level text generation of political speech with RNNs.
Brendan Chambers received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Oberlin College and their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago.
