Steven De Backer currently serves as the Head of Human Resources at Burger Brands Belgium since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing HR activities for multiple companies within the QSRP Group in the BeLux region, and being a member of both the BBB Executive Committee and the QSRP Group HR Leadership Team. Prior to this role, Steven held various HR positions at Colt Technology Services from October 2008 to August 2018, including Human Resources Manager and Global Payroll Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed HR generalist functions alongside global payroll management. Steven's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Tax from Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
