Patrick Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Patrick is currently the Director of Research Services at QuestionPro, a position they began in December 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they worked at Flex Surveys, starting as a Project Analyst and later becoming a Senior Project Analyst. At Flex Surveys, they helped organizations improve their business operations by creating and deploying custom internal surveys, analyzing results, and presenting actionable reports.
From 2017 to 2019, Patrick worked as a Teacher Development Trainer at 51Talk, where they delivered remote trainings to teachers across the world, focusing on teaching techniques and online tools. In 2016 and 2017, they served as a Research Analyst at Ipsos, working with large companies and non-profit organizations to evaluate and analyze customer experiences.
Prior to that, Patrick worked as a Freelance Writer and Online Teacher, ghostwriting, editing, and writing for various websites. Patrick also conducted research and published articles on business and social trends in China.
At Wall Street English from 2010 to 2014, Patrick held multiple roles, including Service Manager and Foreign Trainer. As a Service Manager, they supervised service teams and collaborated with the sales team to meet performance targets.
Patrick's earlier experience includes working as an Oral English Instructor at Neusoft Institute of Information in China and as a Foreign English Teacher at Wishborn English Conversation School. In both roles, they developed and delivered lessons and training programs for students of various ages and backgrounds.
Patrick Jones obtained a Bachelor of Political Science degree from the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2004. Patrick later pursued a Research Analyst Certificate at Georgian College from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans from the Panel on Research Ethics in 2015, HSK Chinese Certification - Level 5 from Hanban/Confucius Institute in 2014, and a TEFL Certification from Oxford Seminars in 2006.
