Jaromir Hamala is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building and optimizing distributed systems. Currently a Software Engineer at QuestDB since April 2022, Jaromir contributes to the development of one of the fastest time-series databases. Prior to this role, Jaromir held multiple positions at Hazelcast from July 2014 to April 2022, including Chief Architect, Software Engineer, and Director of Engineering, where a focus on building distributed teams and systems was emphasized. Jaromir's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at C2B2 Consulting Limited and roles as a Developer at IBA CZ, s.r.o., and IT Specialist at IBM.
