Matthew Hearn is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in equity research and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Equity Research at Quest Partners LLC since February 2023, Matthew previously worked as a Senior Equity Researcher at AlphaCrest Capital Management LLC from October 2018 to February 2023. Prior roles include quantitative researcher and trader positions at TransMarket Group, where Matthew contributed to systematic trading strategies and risk management improvements. An educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science and Quantitative Finance from the University of Cape Town.
