Andrew Grupe is an accomplished leader in bioinformatics and pharmacogenomics with over two decades of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Bioinformatics Engineering and Senior Scientific Director at Quest Diagnostics, Andrew has spearheaded the development of computational analysis pipelines for clinical sequencing tests and directed next-generation sequencing initiatives, particularly in oncology. Prior experience includes roles at Celera Corporation, where Andrew secured significant pharmacogenomic collaborations, and Roche Pharmaceuticals, where Andrew led multiple drug development projects. Andrew holds a PhD in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
