Lory Manrique has a B.F.A. degree in Dramatic Writing and French from New York University, obtained from 1988 to 1992. In 1998 to 2000, Lory pursued an M.A. degree in Creative Writing and English at The City College of New York. Lory also holds a Certificate in Training and Development from the Irish Institute of Training and Development, completed in 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Lory has obtained certifications in Hogan Assessments (Advanced, Level II), Hogan Assessment Certification, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from 2014 to 2016.
