Zaib Shamsi is a 4th year MBCHB medical student at Keele University, where a range of academic and leadership roles have been undertaken, including President of the Keele Neurology and Neurosurgery Society and involvement in various societies such as Keele Surgical Society and Keele Anatomy Society. Zaib currently serves as Centre Lead for DATES Audit at NANSIG and Regional Lead for Keele University at STARSurg UK, while also acting as an Ambassador for Quesmed and Medic 10's YouTube channel. Additional accomplishments include winning a presentation award at the Surgical Society Pre-Clinical Case Presentation Evening and presenting research at a national conference through The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Community engagement includes teaching first-year medical students and participating in multiple research projects, particularly in neural tissue engineering.
