Sim Tung's work experience began in 2007 at The University of Dundee, where they worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator until January 2008. In January 2008, they joined the National Institute for Medical Research as a Research Technician/Assistant and worked there until September 2013. In September 2013, Sim Tung started their PhD at King's College London and completed it in September 2017. They then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at King's College London from October 2017 to April 2019. Sim Tung joined Quell Therapeutics in April 2019 as a Scientist and held that position until March 2021. From April 2021 to May 2022, they worked as a Scientist II at Quell Therapeutics. Currently, Sim Tung is serving as a Senior Scientist at Quell Therapeutics starting from June 2022.
Sim Tung has a Bachelor's Degree in Anatomical and Physiological Sciences from the University of Dundee, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Sim then pursued a Master's of Research in Biomedical and Translational Science at King's College London from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, they continued their education at King's College London, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from 2014 to 2017.
