Allwyn Carvalho has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of project controls, cost management, and quantity surveying. Allwyn most recently served as the Lead Cost Controller at Queensland Hydro starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Controls Manager at Aurecon from August 2021 to March 2023. Allwyn also held roles such as Senior Project Controls Engineer, Cost Planner, and Cost Engineer at CIMIC Group Limited from 2017 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Allwyn worked as a Contracts Administrator at Lendlease, a Cost Engineer and Quantity Surveyor at Murphy Pipe and Civil, and a Quantity Surveyor at J Murphy & Sons Limited. Allwyn also gained experience as a Project Manager at CBRE, a Cost Consultant at Arcadis, a Quantity Surveyor at Dubai Sports City, and an Office Engineer at Obayashi Corporation. Through their various roles, Allwyn has developed strong skills in cost control, project management, and quantity surveying.
Allwyn Carvalho completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Goa Engineering College - Government of Goa in the years 1998 to 2002. In 2009, Carvalho obtained a Certification Course in Cost Engineering from the Chicago Management Training Institute in UAE. Carvalho then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Gloucestershire from 2011 to 2012.
